Following massive demand, a limited number of extra tickets for Coldplay's Music Of The Spheres World Tour have just been released for New Zealand and Australian fans.

Coldplay originally announced just one Eden Park show on November 13 but there were reportedly more than 200,000 people waiting in the digital pre-sale queue the day tickets went on sale - more than four times the venue's capacity.

The British hitmakers added a second and third show to their Auckland tour - now playing at the stadium on Friday November 15 and Saturday November 16 as well.

It's the first time Coldplay have been in NZ since 2016. More than 10 million tickets have been sold for the Music of the Spheres world tour, which began in 2022. The Australia/NZ leg of the tour will kick off on October 30 - with four shows set for Melbourne's Marvel Stadium, then four at Sydney's Accor Stadium.

The latest drop of tickets will be available via livenation.co.nz from 10am on Tuesday.
