Fire crews are fighting a fire in a large barley shed north of Christchurch on Wednesday morning.
The 60m by 20m shed was well alight by the time fire fighters arrived at a property in Sefton, Waimakariri, soon after 4am.
Four fire appliances and four additional tanker trucks were at the scene.
There were currently no reports of injuries.
