Two teenagers have been arrested after a robbery at an Auckland dairy last month.

Police responded to a robbery at a Northcote dairy just before 8.30pm on 30 November.

Detective Sergeant Geoffrey Patterson, of Waitematā CIB said the offenders arrived in a stolen vehicle and entered the store armed with weapons.

"They are alleged to have threatened several store workers before taking a number of tobacco products and a cash register."

Police found one of the teens they believe was responsible in a stolen vehicle in Papakura, last Friday morning.

The second was arrested on Monday morning in a separate, stolen vehicle on the Southern Motorway near Ramarama.

Both are aged 16.

One youth will appear in the Manukau Youth Court on 6 January 2025, charged with aggravated robbery, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, and unlawfully getting into a motor vehicle.

The other was due to appear in the Waitākere Youth Court today, facing similar charges.

Both stolen vehicles have been recovered.
