New Zealand have taken a win in the third test against England, beating the tourists by 423 runs - and a day to spare.

Play on day four opened with England on 18/2 with Jacob Bethell on nine and Joe Root yet to score.

Spinner Mitch Santner cleaned up the lower order taking four wickets for 85 runs.

Injured England captain Ben Stokes did not bat in the second innings.

Jacob Bethell top scored for England in the loss with 76 runs.
