A police investigation is underway after a woman was found dead at a Whau Valley, Whangārei home on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the Moody Avenue address shortly before 5pm after the woman was found unresponsive, a police spokesperson said.
The circumstances surrounding her death were unexplained, and a post-mortem examination would be carried out on Sunday.
The hosue would undergo a scene examination on Sunday, police said.
Police are seeking reports from anyone who may have information about any incidents that might relate to the death, or those involved.
