State Highway 1, north of Auckland, will remain blocked due to a truck rollover until at Monday evening.
A police spokesperson said a truck rolled at 10.15am on Monday, blocking lanes in both directions near the intersections with Schiska and Otioro Roads near Topuni.
There were no reports of any injuries.
At 2.30pm, NZTA said the road was still blocked while the truck was recovered and this would likely take until early evening.
Diversions were in place for northbound and southbound traffic, the spokesperson said.
Motorists should expect delays while the scene is cleared.
