Witnesses are being sought as police piece together the events leading up to a crash on State Highway 1 near Topuni, Northland.
A milk tanker rolled on the busy highway north of Auckland at around 10:15am on Monday, blocking lanes in both directions near the intersections with Schiska and Otioro roads. There were no reports of any injuries.
"It is very fortunate we are not dealing with a serious or fatal injury crash," Acting Inspector Warwick Stainton, acting Road Policing Manager said.
Dashcam footage had been uploaded to social media following the crash, and police would like to speak with the driver who captured it.
"We would like to hear from that driver, or any other witnesses to the crash," Stainton said, urging them to contact police "as soon as possible".
