Auckland's arterial Great South Road has been closed after power lines were brought down onto the road by a crash, police said.
A vehicle had collided with a power pole in a single vehicle crash, that was reported just before 5pm on Waitangi Day, a police statement said.
No injuries were reported, but drivers were warned to expect delays and have been asked to avoid the area.
The incident happened near Mcannalley Street, in Manurewa.
