One person has been taken to hospital after pool chemicals were spilt at a private property in the Auckland suburb of Epsom.
Fire and Emergency said four fire trucks were sent to Owens Road in Epsom about 11am on Tuesday.
The spill was contained to the property, a Fire and Emergency spokesperson said, but the chemicals had mixed to produce a toxic gas.
Emergency services were working to identify the chemicals and make the area safe, the spokesperson said.
The road was closed while the area was made safe.
Fire and Emergency has now left.
