One person has been injured in an incident involving a quad bike on the Cape Kidnappers Track near Hastings this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Clifton Beach about 10.45am.
A police spokesperson says one person had received "minor injuries".
The Maukatia Gannet Track and access to the Takapu Refuge / Gannet Colony at Ōtakamiro Point in Muriwai only reopened in January, after it was significantly damaged in a storm in early 2023.
