Police said the death of a man at a property in Wairoa this week was not suspicious.
Emergency services were called to an address on Lucknow Street at about 4pm on Wednesday where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said enquiries had been carried out and they determined the circumstances surrounding the death were not suspicious.
The death would be referred to the Coroner.
