The Hutt Road north of Wellington has been cleared after a bus crash and a broke- down heavy vehicle blocked lanes heading into the city on Monday morning.
Police were called to a crash involving a bus and another vehicle on the southbound lanes of the Petone overbridge at 10.20am Monday.
Just further south a heavy vehicle had broken down blocking the left hand lane just about 40 minutes earlier.
There were no reports of injuries in either incident.
The lanes were reopened just after 11am.
