A person has died and another is in a critical condition following a crash in Palmerston North.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash on Tennent Drive, near Linton, about 10.10pm on Saturday.
Police said one person died at the scene and another was flown to Wellington Hospital with critical injuries.
The road was closed while a scene examination was conducted, and reopened about 2:25am.
