Two people have been injured after a two-vehicle crash north of Auckland.
Police said they were called to the serious crash on Old North Road in Waimauku just before 6.30am on Wednesday.
One person was critical while a second was in a serious condition.
Traffic is being diverted from the area as police investigate.
