Another emergency alert for severe thunderstorms was issued for Auckland this evening.
The alert, which was cancelled at 7.20pm, extended through much of West Auckland.
Flooding was reported in some areas.
State Highway One near the Brynderwyn Hills, north of Auckland, remains partially blocked by a landslip.
Repair crews are still scrambling to restore power to dozens of customers who lost supplies during ex-Tropical Cyclone Tam and in Saturday morning's violent lightning storm.
The current outages include Henderson in west Auckland, the Waitakere Ranges and further north, Waimauku, Riverhead, Dairy Flat and Whangaparoao, right up to the city's border at Te Hana and Mangawhai.
People in Auckland have also been advised to report flooding and blocked stormwater drains at 09 301 0101. Fallen trees on public property should be reported using Auckland Council's Report a Problem tool here.
