One person has been left seriously injured after a gun was fired in central Auckland early Sunday morning.
Police said officers were called to Fort Street just before 4am after reports a firearm was discharged.
One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Cordons were in place on Fort Street and Jean Batten Place while a scene examination took place.
