A Christchurch gym and swimming pool complex has closed following the death of a person.
Emergency services were called to Jellie Park, in the suburb of Burnside, just after 10.30am Monday after someone suffered a medical event.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and has been referred to the Coroner.
The Christchurch City Council, which owned the complex, said the complex will re-open at 3.30pm on Monday.
