Researcher Celia Lashlie says there is no easy fix to what she calls 'angry girl' culture.
Ms Lashlie is looking into violence among girls. She says it will take more than just police intervention to change this culture.
She told Morning Report that society must first change its attitude towards violence in girls and take the situation seriously.
