Three kayakers who went missing in the Kaingaroa Forest in the Bay of Plenty on Sunday have been found.
A woman had fallen from her kayak on the Rangitaiki River, climbed up the riverbank and walked into the bush.
She was with a group from Auckland, and two team members walked up a bush track to look for her and also disappeared.
The Rotorua Search and Rescue team scoured the forest for the trio until 3am on Monday and then again from first light.
All three had been found by 8am.
