Fiji's defence minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola is to give evidence in the case of a suspended opposition MP Ratu Isoa Tikoca.
The Fiji Times reports that Ratu Isoa faces one count of failing to declare his liabilities in line with the Political Parties Registration Decree.
The case relates to his time as Fiji's High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.
The defence today again asked for Ratu Inoke, who is a former foreign minister, to be subpoenaed and to testify after the court rejected the bid last month.
The matter has been adjourned until a hearing on Monday.
