Support for the Government among small-and-medium-sized businesses is growing as they become more confident about the economy.
A poll conducted on behalf of MYOB, an accounting software company, has found one third of the businesses are satisfied with the Government support for the sector, up from less than a quarter last August.
Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce said it appears business operators are more confident about the economy.
But Labour leader David Cunliffe said the National Party has nothing to crow about when only a third of business operators support it.
The poll of 1000 people was conducted by Colmar Brunton and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
