Hamilton West MP Tim Macindoe is the National Party's new senior whip, while Botany MP Jami-Lee Ross will fill the junior role.

National MPs elected new whips at their caucus this morning, after the previous senior whip, Louise Upston, was promoted to a ministerial position outside Cabinet.
Mr Macindoe, who became an MP in 2008, was previously the party's junior whip.
