Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is heading to Melbourne this week and will meet her Australian counterpart Scott Morrison for the first time since his re-election.
Ms Ardern flies to Australia on Thursday morning and returns late Friday.
As well as sitting down with Mr Morrison, she will meet with the Victoria governor and premier and deliver the keynote speech at an Australia New Zealand School of Government event.
Ms Ardern said she was keen to make the most of visits to Australia to enhance the relationship.
