The Green Party ACT, NZ First, and Te Pāti Māori - potential coalition partners for the bigger parties - are facing off in The Press leaders' debate tonight.
The debate at the Christchurch Town Hall comes after the original scheduled debate between Labour leader Chris Hipkins and National leader Christopher Luxon was cancelled when Hipkins tested positive for Covid-19.
The debate was unable to be rescheduled, with accusations fired between both major parties about why.
Here's where each of the parties were sitting in the latest election poll (The Taxpayers' Union-Curia Poll) on 6 October:
- ACT Party: 9.1 percent
- Green Party 10.6 percent
- NZ First 6.9 percent
- Te Pāti Māori 3.7 percent
