The Perth Wildcats have thrashed the Townsville Crocodiles 101-66 at home to seal second position on the Australian National Basketball League ladder, under the table-topping New Zealand Breakers.
Rival guards Kevin Lisch and Peter Crawford engaged in a sensational shootout early, while Damian Martin was everywhere as Perth out-scored the visitors 53-23 in the second half.
Power forwards Shawn Redhage and Jesse Wagstaff were a dynamic duo for the Wildcats, while youngster Todd Blanchfield was impressive for the Crocs, who must now beat the Breakers next week to qualify for the playoffs.
