Mark Worthington pulled off a three-pointer as time expired to hand the Melbourne Tigers a spectacular 83-80 upset win over National Basketball league table toppers the Perth Wildcats on Friday night.
With overtime looming, Worthington swished the triple from near the top of the arc to break a late-game deadlock and inflict the Cats' first home loss of the season.
Elsewhere the Cairns Taipans beat the Townsville Crocodiles 90-79 in Townsville, and the Sydney Kings beat the Adelaide 36ers 105-93.
