But as Formula One introduces major rule changes with turbo hybrid engines restricted by fuel limits, and changes to the body of cars Hamilton says any predictions are worthless.
Unlike other drivers, Hamilton and Rosberg are content with pre-season testing but Hamilton, the 2008 world champion, says he's yet to feel comfortable in the new car.
