The Silver Ferns are taking inspiration from their gold medal performance at Delhi four years ago as they prepare to defend their title at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Ferns captain Casey Kopua says it's a different time now, but the team's double overtime win against Australia four years ago is especially memorable.
Kopua says one of her memories was how tough that game was.
She says while there are a lot of new faces this time, they can still take a lot from the last games.
The team's first game is against Malawi on Friday night.
