The Warriors have been thrashed by the St. George Illawarra Dragons 36-0 in their National Rugby League match at Wellington.
The Warriors haven't beaten the Dragons since 2007 and a large crowd at Wellington Regional Stadium couldn't inspire the home side to victory.
Look back at our match commentary here:
The visitors scored six tries to hold onto seventh place on the ladder while the Warriors could slip from 10th to 11th by the end of the round.
The Dragons opened the scoring in the seventh minute when the last minute replacement Justin Hunt completed a sweeping move in the right hand corner.
Fifteen minutes later the visitors were on the scoreboard again, when Mitch Rein caught his markers napping from dummy-half and dived over the line from about five metres out.
The Warriors went to half-time trailing 10-0, from where few would have predicted the rout that was to follow.
Jake Marketo scored a try in the 47th minute only for his team-mate Peter Mata'utia to cross the line a minute later.
The Warriors resisted for five minutes before Gareth Widdop got his name on the scoreboard followed by Tyson Frizell five minutes later.
Widdop kicked four of his six coversion attempts to complete a comprehensive drubbing of the Warriors, whose chances of playing in the post-season are waining.
