New Zealand golfer Danny Lee has secured his spot for the Presidents Cup after a much-needed par down the last hole at the Deutsche Bank Championship on the PGA Tour.

Lee had a forgettable final round, shooting a six over par 77 at TPC Boston to finish tied for 33rd.
American Rickie Fowler won the tournament after he carded a three under 68 to finish at 15 under, one shot clear of Swede Henrik Stenson.
The Deutsche Bank Championship was the last tournament for players to earn points towards next month's Presidents Cup.
Lee's result means he has finished inside the top 10 on the international points tally, earning him an automatic spot on the 12-man team that will take on the US in South Korea.
This season, Lee recorded his first win on the PGA Tour at the Greenbrier Classic, as well as two top three finishes, seven top 10s, twelve top 25s and $3,280,330 in prize money.
The 25-year-old is the fourth New Zealander to play in the Presidents Cup. Frank Nobilo made three appearances in 1994, 1996 and 1998, Greg Turner appeared in 1998 and Michael Campbell appeared in 2000 and 2005.
Lee will also qualify for next week's BMW Championship, the penultimate tournament in the four-week Fed Ex Cup playoffs.
