50 thousand fans rocked on the ground on Saturday night at the ACDC concert.
A stadium spokesman Darren Chandler says head curator Damian Hough and his team had been working "around the clock" since the concert in preparation.
"The pitches went in Sunday night - Damian and the team are delighted with how it's gone," Mr Chandler said.
"Damian prepares a pitch that will go for a five-day Test match and give both the bowlers and the batsmen a terrific opportunity.
"No doubt there will be a lot of speculation over the next few days, but Damian has done a great job."
Some of that speculation will be coming from Australia, as it looks to decide whether to include Stephen O'Keefe in the final 11, as a second spinning option.
Australia lead the series 1-nil.
