The New Zealand women's footballers have easily beaten hosts Papua New Guinea 7-1 in the first leg of the Oceania Olympic qualifying playoffs.
The Football Ferns led 4-0 at half-time.
Annalie Longo and Amber Hearn both scored twice, while debutant Aimee Phillips, Rebekah Stott and captain Abbie Erceg also scored.
A 79th minute goal from Meagen Gunemba got Papua New Guinea on the scoresheet, while Longo also missed a late penalty, sending the spot kick over the crossbar in the 83rd minute.
Both teams now travel to Auckland, for the second leg at Albany on Tuesday.
