The Melbourne Storm are damaged goods according to sports stores across Sydney, where Storm merchanise is being discounted by 50 percent.
As soon as news broke on Thursday that Melbourne had rorted the NRL salary cap by hiding nearly two million of player payments, some fans showed their disgust by dumping jerseys at the Storm's headquarters.
However some fans have been buying Melbourne's now damaged goods at bargain prices with jerseys featuring the logos of major sponsors ME Bank and HOSTPLUS, who dropped the Storm on Saturday.
