The potential next coach of the Silver Ferns Noeline Taurua has taken the Sunshine Coast Lightning to the finals of Australia's Super Netball competition.

The defending champions Lightning had a slow start to the season but have gained momentum in recent weeks.
They just secured a finals berth after beating the Melbourne Vixens 56-51 today in the final game of regular season.
They'll meet the Queensland Firebirds in Brisbane in the semi-final on 12th August, after finishing fourth on the table.
Netball New Zealand were hopeful of naming the next Silver Ferns coach before the wider Silver Ferns squad is named on 14 August.
But if the Lightning keep winning, Taurua could be tied up with them as late as the 26th August.
Netball New Zealand has also said a caretaker coach might be an option.
Since coaching in the old trans-Tasman competition and now Australia's Super Netball league, Taurua has taken her team to the finals every time.
