If there's to be an Auckland finalist and final in the Chatham Cup, then one of the two clubs from the city must win a daunting away trip in the semi-finals of the 83rd edition of football's venerable Cup tournament.
The draw's been made and the 2008 champions East Coast Bays face three-time winners Miramar Rangers in Wellington, with Bay Olympic trekking to Dunedin to take on Caversham.
The semi-finals take place on the weekend of August 14 and 15.
New Zealand Football's confirmed that if the winter showpiece, played on the first weekend in September, features no Auckland team, the game will be played at the ground of one of the finalists rather than North Harbour Stadium, the host of nine of the last 11 finals.
