The Warriors prop Kane Evans has been fined $5000 by the National Rugby League for writing an explicit message on his strapping on Sunday.
During the loss to Penrith Panthers in Brisbane, Evans was shown team on the bench, where the 'Fold some c***' message on his wrist could be seen.
Coach Nathan Brown confirmed the sanction and no further punishment will be handed down by the club.
"We don't need to sanction Kane, the NRL has already sanctioned it, they've given him a $5000 fine, so it was an expensive little piece of writing," he said.
"If that's the worst thing Kane Evans does well...he's copped a kick up the backside and we'll move on with it."
"Kane is a good lad," said Brown.
"He's only been with us short term and he's very popular amongst the boys and is a terrific bloke.
"But good people do some silly things sometimes and on this occasion Kane has done something that as a club we feel is a little bit silly."
Meanwhile the Warriors will be without captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for this weekend's match against South Sydney after he was who was concussed in the Penrith game.
Brown expects the Warriors captain to be back to play the Wests Tigers the following round.
