She now sits in a share of ninth place, eight strokes shy of outright leader Nelly Korda of the United States, who stormed around in 9-under 62 for her second round.

Korda holds a four-shot lead over Danes Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Emily Kristine Pedersen, and Aditi Ashok (India).

Ko carded a 1-under first round 70 for a share of 16th after day one, but didn't have the best of starts today when she bogeyed the par-four first.

But she refocused to birdie six of the next eight holes and turn at 5-under par for the front nine.

A birdie at the 10th was followed by a run of par finishes before Ko stumbled at the finish and bogeyed the last two holes to finish 4-under 67 for the round.
