Ko fired a final round 66 to pick up $450,000.

Henderson captured her second major title by sinking a 3-metre birdie putt on the 18th hole to record a one-stroke.

Henderson, 24, was doused in champagne on the 18th green after carding an even-par 71 on Sunday and 17-under-par 267 for the tournament.

She finished one stroke ahead of American Sophia Schubert (68), who was attempting to become the first LPGA Tour rookie to win a major since Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit captured the 2021 Chevron Championship.

Henderson pocketed $1.5 million with the victory, which was her 12th on the LPGA Tour and first major since the 2016 Women's PGA Championship. She is also the first Canadian golfer -- male or female -- with more than one major title.

The 25-year-old, who five years ago was working as a fish packer in a factory in the morning before training in the afternoon, followed up on his surprise second place last year.

He finished today's ride to the Champs Elysees safely in the bunch as Belgian Jasper Philipsen won the last stage in a sprint ahead of Dutch Dylan Groenewegen and Norway's Alexander Kristoff, who were second and third respectively.

Vingegaard laid the foundations of his victory in the 10th stage, when he and his team mate Primoz Roglic attacked Pogacar relentlessly and made him crack in the climb up to the Col du Granon.

Pogacar hit back time and time again but Vingegaard and his Jumbo-Visma team contained the feisty Slovenian, with the new champion sealing the victory when he claimed another win at Hautacam in the final mountain stage.

Overall, Vingegaard, who rocketed into the limelight last year, finished ahead of Pogacar and also won the polka-dot jersey for the mountains classification.

New Zealand's Jack Bauer finished 122nd overall, almost five hours behind the winner.

Strong start for Sri Lanka in second test

Sri Lanka opener Oshada Fernando and in-form batsman Dinesh Chandimal hit half-centuries to drive Sri Lanka to 315-6 on the opening day of the second test against Pakistan in Galle.

Chandimal fell for 80, his fourth consecutive 50-plus score, but a string of cameos from their top and middle order kept Sri Lanka on course for a score around 350.

Pakistan could have been in a better position but skipper Babar Azam spilled two catches, including one from Niroshan Dickwella who was batting on a run-a-ball 42.

Debutant Dunith Wellalage was on six at the other end.

Earlier, electing to bat at the Galle International Stadium, Sri Lanka got off to a strong start with Oshada (50) and Dimuth Karunaratne (40) combining in a 92-run opening stand.

Pakistan have a 1-0 lead in the two-tests series following their thrilling four-wicket victory in the series opener.

No result means the three-match series was tied at 1-1 after South Africa won the first ODI by 62 runs with England rebounding to win the second by 118 runs.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat with De Kock 69 not out before the first break for rain.

When the teams returned for another seven overs, he moved onto 92 not out before rain fell again, leading to a decision to abandon the contest.

South Africa were 159-2 from 27.4 overs.

The two countries now meet in three Twenty20 internationals, starting in Bristol on Wednesday.

Board of Cricket Scotland resigns

The board of Cricket Scotland has resigned with immediate effect, a day before an independent report into racism in the sport is published.

The review was commissioned after allegations were made by one of the country's all-time leading wicket-takers, Majid Haq, who said Cricket Scotland was "institutionally racist".

Haq's former team mate Qasim Sheikh also spoke out about abuse he had suffered, with both players saying they were treated differently due to the colour of their skin.

The board said they were committed to implementing the findings of the review, saying it will provide a "watershed moment for Scottish sport and society".

"We are all truly sorry and have apologised publicly to everyone who has experienced racism, or any other form of discrimination, in cricket in Scotland," the board said in a letter to interim CEO Gordon Arthur.

The Black Caps play Scotland in two T20 internationals and an ODI starting on Wednesday.
