The Black Caps have beaten the West Indies by 50 runs in the second one-day international in Barbados.
Tim Southee took 4-22 and Trent Boult 3-18 as the West Indies were dismissed for 161 in the 36th over, having had their target adjusted to 212 off 41.
Finn Allen top-scored with 96, while Daryl Mitchell hit 41.
Allen told Sky Sports the Black Caps had to battle to take the win at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown.
"I think it was just a good, classic Kiwi scrappy win. We talked about, going into this series, that we're going to have to scrap and fight hard for these victories given the wickets that we're playing on. So I think it was another example of that."
Black Caps captain Kane Williamson was rested with a quad injury.
The Windies won the first one-dayer by five wickets on Wednesday.
