The former Australian coach Jill McIntosh has labelled Netball New Zealand's handling of the meltdown of the Central Pulse franchise as shameful.
McIntosh has been assisting sacked Pulse coach Kate Carpenter and believes Netball New Zealand wants to use the franchise as a development team for national under 21 players.
She says the franchise had all but one player in its 12 strong squad sorted out but feels with Netball New Zealand having to financially bail out the franchise to the tune of up to $200,000 it now wants more say in its playing roster.
