The White Ferns have taken an unassailable 2-nil lead in the T20 cricket series against Bangladesh after beating the visitors by 37 runs in Dunedin.
The White Ferns set Bangladesh a target of 149 in the second T20 cricket international.
Bangladesh were much more competitive in the field after the thrashing they received in the first match.
The White Ferns lost early wickets but Wellington team-mates Maddy Green and Amelia Kerr then put on a 77-run partnership.
That got the home side to a respectable 148 for 4 from their 20 overs.
Bangladesh couldn't score quickly enough and three run outs hurt them big time.
Bangladesh finished 111 for 8.
Wellington's Rebbeca Burns got her international debut at the age of 28 after being called into the squad yesterday to cover injury to White Ferns batter Brooke Halliday.
The third T20 match is on Wednesday in Queenstown.
