The New Zealand Breakers have snapped their four-game losing streak with a 93-88 win over the league leaders Sydney Kings thanks to a clutch three-pointer from Jarrell Brantley.
The Breakers had lost seven of their last nine games and were in dire need of a win to steer their finals campaign back on track. The win keeps them in third spot on the ladder with just four games remaining.
A crowd of 14,232 poured into Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena for the clash, the biggest NBL crowd this season.
As well as his clutch three-point bank shot with 13.7 seconds left, Brantley had one of his best games with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Will McDowell-White added 20 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds.
Sydney had multiple contributors but found nobody to take control of the game to get them over the line.
Derrick Walton Jr had 17 points, Justin Simon had 16 and Dejan Vasiljevic had 12.
The Auckland side travel to Brisbane to take on the Bullets on Thursday.
