Ryan Fox has earned Special Temporary Status to the US PGA Tour for the remainder of the season thanks to his finish at the PGA Championship.
After leading for a short time during the opening round at Oak Hill in New York, the 36 year finished tied for 23rd.
On social media Fox described it as a dream come true.
He's played seven tournaments in the US this year, playing mostly on sponsors invitations.
Fox has had five top 30 finishes and yesterday picked up $263,000 for his tie for 23rd in New York.
Fox was a multiple winner on the World Tour, where he has played the majority of his golf.

He needed to finish better than a tie for 59th at the PGA Championship to gain his card for the rest of the season.
His aim now will be to finish high enough on the order of merit to retain his card beyond this year.
Australian Min Woo Lee, the younger brother of LPGA star Minjee Lee, also claimed his PGA card for the rest of the season.
