Disgraced former New Zealand athlete Zane Robertson has reportedly been arrested in Kenya after being found in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The Standard newspaper in Kenya says police had gone to Robertson's residence to question him in relation to a sexual assualt complaint.
Robertson declined to let them in but after gaining entry Police discovered he was in possession of a gun.
33 year old Robertson was arrested and is being held by Police.
He has lived in Kenya for a number of years.
Earlier this year Robertson, a former New Zealand Olympian, was banned for eight years for taking a banned substance and providing false documentation.
He won a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in the 5000 metres in 2014.
