It will be a trans-Tasman final in netball's Fast Five tournament in Christchurch after New Zealand and Australia unearthed sharp form on day two.
New Zealand beat South Africa 41-33 and thumped Jamaica 50-16 on Sunday to set up a shot at an eighth title in the five-a-side tournament.
Defending champions Australia were even more impressive, sweeping aside Malawi 42-24 and England 37-16 to leave both of the finalists on four wins out of five heading into Sunday night's decider.
It took a strong defensive display from Kate Burley for New Zealand to pull clear of the South Africans, who lead 23-20 at halftime in their match.
In other games, South Africa bounced back to beat Malawi 37-31 while England finished third in the standings after seeing off Jamaica 33-27.
