New Zealand women's double sculls team Brooke Francis and Lucy Spoors have won gold in their event, while the men's coxless four team have taken silver and in the women's coxless four finals, New Zealand's Davina Waddy, Phoebe Spoors, and sisters Kerri Williams and Jackie Gowler have taken bronze.

Romania took gold in the men's double sculls which New Zealand's Robbie Manson and Jordan Parry placed sixth in.

There were four chances for rowing medals tonight, with the women's and men's double sculls and the women's and men's coxless fours all taking place between 9.20pm-10.10pm NZT.

Later, sailors Isaac McHardie and Will McKenzie, and Jo Aleh and Molly Meech, will contest medal races in the 49er FX skiff in Marseille.

So far, New Zealand has copped a gold medal in women's sevens rugby and a silver in the men's triathlon.
