Former Football Ferns goalkeeper Jenny Bindon is returning to the team as an assistant coach.
Bindon, Will Britt and Sam Wilkinson are all joining interim head coach Michael Mayne's staff ahead of the Ferns' first tour of the year, to Costa Rica next month.
Bindon had 77 caps for the national team, including appearances at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games, and the 2007 and 2011 FIFA Women's World Cups.
Bindon, who coaches at Reading FC in England, has had coaching roles with London City Lionesses, Arsenal Academy, and NCAA WSL sides LMU and UCLA.
"Jenny is someone who I have crossed paths with in the New Zealand Football system for years and is a well-respected former Fern with experience of the game from around the world,'' Mayne said in a statement.
"I know she will bring a wealth of knowledge of what it takes to succeed in high performance environments, as well as be a great support to me and this team."
Britt, a former professional goalkeeper, coaches the goalies at the England WSL championship team Southampton.
Wilkinson, who joined as an assistant coach, has had technical roles with FIFA and academy coach and player development positions at Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. He had also been an assistant coach for the New New Zealand men's U-17 and U-23 teams.
"As this is the start of a new cycle it is a great opportunity for us to try some new things and I'm really pleased with the coaching team we have been able to assemble," Mayne said.
The Football Ferns play Costa Rica on Sunday, 23 February at 1pm NZT and Wednesday, 26 February at 11am, with both games at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
