The Blues continue to reign supreme over their cross-city brothers, claiming a comfortable 36-17 victory to keep their perfect record against Moana Pasifika intact.
Rubbing salt in the wound, the result sees the Blues leapfrog Moana on the Super Rugby Pacific table.
Some vintage Beauden Barrett magic ignited Eden Park early on and with three fellow All Blacks also crossing the try-line, the defending champs eased to their third win of the season, a fifth straight over Moana in their head-to-head history.
The hosts opened the scoring after just four minutes, hooker Ricky Riccitelli rumbling over from a maul, before Barrett showcased his brilliance.
Finding himself in space on the wing, the mercurial first five chipped one over the top, the bounce landing perfectly in his arms as he slid over the chalk.
Further tries to skipper Patrick Tuipulotu and Mark Telea gave the blues a handy 24-5 lead, Semisi Tupou Ta'eiloa managing to pull one back for Moana.
Hoskins Sotutu kept the scoring ticking over in the second, Miracle Faiʻilagi offering a faint glimmer of hope for Moana, before Kurt Eklund effectively sealed the result with 15 still to play.
Kyren Taumoefolau gave Moana fans something to smile about right on full time, the winger displaying his acrobatic skills as he latched onto a cross-kick and grassed it just before the deadball line.
But it was too little too late, and the Blues maintain city supremacy for another season.
