The New Zealand Breakers' star shooting guard Kirk Penney has narrowly missed a fourth Australian National Basketball League player of the week award.
Penney's been pipped by the Melbourne forward Cameron Tragardh, who scored a season-high 35 points for the Tigers in their narrow loss to the league leaders in Auckland.
Penney is one of the favourites for this season's Most Valuable Player award.
He scored 24 points against the Tigers, shooting just under 67 percent from the field and making five of seven three-pointers.
