The Northern Irish golfer Michael Hoey has outduelled his famous countryman Rory McIlroy to claim the biggest title of his career, the Dunhill Links championship in Scotland.
Hoey birdied three of the last four holes at the home of golf for a 22-under par total, and a two stroke victory over the US Open champion.
